The original inspiration for what would eventually become the Unclear University school of magic was essentially a cross between Unseen University from Discworld, Hogwarts from Harry Potter, and basically every dysfunctional school administration I’ve seen in real life.

One of the few references that establishes these Hamsters as living on an archipelago. Always been interested in archipelago settings since I read EarthSea a thousand years ago.
